Position Summary
The ADON partners with the Director of Nursing to oversee clinical operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the delivery of high-quality resident care. In the absence of the Director of Nursing, the ADON serves as the administrative leader of the nursing department.

This role is ideal for a strong clinical leader with long-term care experience who thrives in a collaborative environment.
Schedule
- Full-time (minimum 40 hours/week)
- Primarily daytime business hours
- Weekend on-call responsibilities as assigned
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing nursing staff and daily clinical operations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations
- Conduct staff rounding, performance input, and regulatory oversight
- Participate in hiring, staff development, and competency evaluations
- Support Quality Assurance (QAPI) and Infection Control programs
- Oversee resident assessments, care planning, wound care, and clinical monitoring
- Communicate changes in condition with physicians and interdisciplinary team
- Assist with Medicare documentation, MDS support, and reimbursement processes
- Participate in admissions, discharges, and clinical investigations
Qualifications
- Current Louisiana RN License (required)
- Long-Term Care experience preferred
- Strong clinical, leadership, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of regulatory standards
- Excellent communication and computer skills
