We are seeking a Hospitality Manager to work with our dining team to help us better shape a stronger hospitality-focused atmosphere for residents, families and employees. 

THE OPPORTUNITY:
Hospitality Manager, Full-Time Work Hours:  10:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. (Tuesday - Saturday)

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:
Hospitality Manager is responsible for overall service of the dining experience and employees in the dining rooms for independent living, assisted living and health care, as well as special events, functions and Bistro refreshment area. Advocates resident-centered care.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
  • Proven experience as hospitality manager.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of dining room service techniques, resident relations, plate presentation, sanitation, food handling, personnel administration and special functions.
  • ServSafe certified within one year from acceptance of position.
  • Must be people-oriented individual, have good communication skills, and the ability to work with a diverse group of people.      
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience in a supervisory position with several years of experience in the area of Food Service.
  • Basic computer skills: Word, Email, Excel, Spread Sheets
  • Work as a team member.
  • Ability to use business math concepts.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:                        
  1. Extensive walking, standing, stooping most of the working day.
  2. Tastes and smells foods to determine quality and palatability.
  3. Hand dexterity to prepare food, visual acuity to assess presentation of food in attractive manner.
  4. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 90 pounds.
